INJECTABLES
Profhilo
An injectable skin bio-remodelling treatment designed to improve hydration, firmness, elasticity and overall skin quality.
At Sapphire Medical Aesthetics, Profhilo is used to support skin that is beginning to feel dull, dehydrated, crepey or less firm. Rather than adding volume or changing facial contours, Profhilo works beneath the surface to deeply hydrate and remodel the skin from within.

Profhilo
Hydration, firmness and skin rejuvenation
what is profhilo
Profhilo is an injectable treatment made with one of the highest concentrations of stabilised hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is naturally found within the body and plays an important role in retaining moisture and supporting skin quality.
Unlike traditional dermal fillers, Profhilo is not designed to add volume, sculpt features or enhance facial shape. Instead, it spreads beneath the skin to improve hydration, support elasticity and stimulate skin remodelling. Over time, this can help improve the appearance of fine lines, crepey texture, dullness and loss of firmness.
Profhilo can be used on areas such as the face, neck, décolletage and hands, while Profhilo Body is specifically designed to support areas of skin laxity on the body, including areas such as the abdomen, arms and knees.

Profhilo for face, neck and body
Profhilo and Profhilo Body both use stabilised hyaluronic acid to improve hydration, firmness and skin quality, but they are designed for slightly different areas and concerns.
Profhilo is most commonly used for the face, neck, décolletage and hands, where the skin may appear dull, dehydrated, crepey or less firm.
Profhilo Body is designed specifically for skin laxity on the body. It is commonly used on areas such as the abdomen, inner arms and knees, where the skin may feel looser, thinner or more crepey.
Both treatments are focused on improving the quality of the skin itself, rather than creating volume or changing your facial features.
How It Works
Your treatment begins with a consultation, where we will assess your skin quality, areas of concern, medical history and suitability for treatment. She will then advise whether Profhilo, Profhilo Body or an alternative treatment would be most appropriate.
Profhilo is injected just beneath the surface of the skin using a series of carefully placed injection points. Once placed, it disperses beneath the skin and helps improve hydration, elasticity and firmness over time.
For the face, a typical Profhilo protocol often involves two treatment sessions spaced around four weeks apart. Profhilo Body also uses a structured protocol designed for body skin laxity, with the exact plan tailored to the area being treated and your individual skin needs.
Some patients notice an early improvement in hydration and glow, while the best results usually develop gradually over the following weeks as the skin responds.
Safety and Expertise
Medical expertise, natural skin renewal
Profhilo is a specialist injectable treatment and should be performed by an experienced practitioner with a strong understanding of skin quality, anatomy and injectable technique.
At Sapphire Medical Aesthetics, Profhilo treatments are planned carefully around your skin condition, treatment area and long-term goals. Emma will assess your suitability, explain what to expect and create a treatment plan designed to improve the skin without over-treating or changing your natural features.
As with any injectable treatment, temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising or small bumps at the injection points can occur. These usually settle quickly, but your practitioner will provide tailored aftercare advice before you leave clinic.
The Sapphire Approach - Skin Bio-remodelling
At Sapphire, Profhilo is used for patients who want their skin to look fresher, smoother and more hydrated, without adding volume or changing their facial structure.
This treatment fits beautifully into a natural-results philosophy because it works with the skin, rather than against it. It is not about contouring or reshaping. It is about supporting skin quality, improving hydration and helping the skin appear firmer, softer and more radiant over time.
Emma may recommend Profhilo on its own or as part of a wider skin rejuvenation plan, depending on your concerns. For some patients, this may involve the face and neck. For others, Profhilo Body may be used to support areas such as the arms, abdomen or knees where skin laxity is the main concern.
The goal is healthier-looking skin that still feels entirely like you.
