How does it work?
A dermal filler treatment can make the nose appear smaller by making it look straighter. It is frequently used to increase the height and definition of the nasal bridge, as well as augmenting other precisely defined areas of the nose. By using a dermal filler, Emma can reshape and contour the nose to achieve results that were previously only ever possible with plastic surgery.
What happens during the procedure?
The procedure fills in depressed areas on the nose, lifting the angle of the tip or smoothing the appearance of bumps on the bridge. Non-surgical rhinoplasty is an augmentation procedure, so it cannot reduce the size of someone’s nose. It is a cosmetic procedure and is not used to correct functional problems with the nose, such as breathing difficulties.
How long does the procedure take?
For injecting and placing the soft-tissue filler typically take 20 to 30 minutes to perform after an initial 15 minutes of numbing. After the procedure you can resume normal life activities immediately.
Are there any side effects?
As the procedure is non-invasive, bruising and swelling are minimal. The procedure is not meant to decrease nose size. Minimal bruising may occur which usually resolves in 5 – 7 days. The nose may be tender for 3 – 5 days following treatment.
