Profhilo Body Treatments; A NEW APPROACH TO SKIN LAXITY AND BODY CARE, specifically designed for body treatments is now available at Sapphire Medical Aesthetics. Recently launched in the UK, Profhilo® Body is the only injectable treatment specifically indicated for the treatment of body skin laxity. The main active ingredient in Profhilo is a high quality high concentration Hyaluronic Acid (HA), which works to provide maximum hydration. Profhilo remodels skin tissue, resulting in improvement in hydration, volume, and collagen production. It spreads out smoothly and consistently under the skin improving overall texture and skin quality.
You may already be familiar with our Profhilo skin rejuvenation facial treatment and our Profhilo Body treatments comprises the same high purity hyaluronic acid as the Profhilo facial product.
Profhilo® Body also includes a Body Patch to soothe and moisturise the skin post-treatment, along with a Body Cream to firm, tone and hydrate the skin as part of your at-home skincare routine. These help to optimise each treatment outcome with an aim to achieve transformational results on the treated area.
Consisting of a two to three part treatment typically four weeks apart, Profhilo® Body smoothes fine lines and wrinkles, rehydrates loose, crepey skin and provides overall improvement to skin elasticity.

How does it work?
It is the first injectable of its kind – a stabilised hyaluronic acid (HA) developed to treat skin laxity – or loose skin.
Profhilo can create a generalised replenishment of volume in order to address loose skin where the tissue has lost elasticity. Profhilo is quite unlike other products: it is NOT a dermal filler used to create localised volume and is NOT a mesotherapy product designed to tighten and boost the skin, nor it is a skin booster for hydration.

What does the treatment consist of?
You will have two treatments of Profhilo four weeks apart. A Profhilo Figura body patch is immediately applied after treatment to soothe and hydrate the skin.
You will also be given a Profhilo Figura body cream to apply at home to give tone, elasticity and deep hydration to the treated area for 2 months.
